The Tackling Organised Exploitation (TOEX) Programme is an intelligence capability for UK law enforcement that moves away from a threat-specific focus towards a more holistic approach to tackling organised exploitation, including threats such as modern slavery, human trafficking, county lines, immigration crime, child sexual abuse, and exploitation, and in doing so is delivering enhanced and far-reaching outcomes.
Built around existing regional structures, TOEX provides dedicated intelligence and analytical expertise in support of forces undertaking complex investigations, as well as developing a rich national intelligence picture to better develop insight into the often-sophisticated criminality underpinning organised exploitation of the vulnerable.
Specialists in exploitation matters, the YHROCU TOEX Team are a well-resourced intelligence team with an embedded data practitioner to enhance data-enabled intelligence practice, providing innovative solutions to complex data problems to create a more efficient and effective intelligence gathering process and an enhanced intelligence product. With access to a vast array of analytical and intelligence tools, and a number of complimentary and assistive tools/applications as developed (and currently under development) by the national TOEX team.
