Modern Slavery and Organised Immigration Crime (MSOIC) are two areas of co-ordination functions within the YHROCU with one Regional Coordinator funded through the Modern Slavery and Organised Immigration Crime Programme .

The Coordinator has responsibility for driving activity in the YHROCU and the 4 regional forces for both Modern Slavery and Organised Immigration Crime as well as providing tactical advice for forces and the ROCU and is the link between the ROCU and the NCA for Modern Slavery and Organised Immigration Crime.

With no additional staff in the MSOIC department, the role involves negotiating and cooperating with dedicated specialist teams in the regional forces and specialists in partner agencies and Non-Governmental Organisations (NGOs).
