The Yorkshire and Humber Regional Cyber Crime Unit picked up 2 awards at the inaugural National Cyber Awards 2019 in Cheltenham on 10th April 2019

The Yorkshire and Humber Regional Cyber Crime Unit has been recognised for their drive and determination to keep the public we serve safe from the threat posed by cyber criminals. 

The unit works tirelessly to trace, track and bring cyber criminals to justice and is leading the way in innovation when it comes to educating organisations on the threats and how to mitigate the risks. From bespoke awareness packages to collaborations with external organisations to use cutting edge techniques to limit the damage a cyber attack could cause your organisation. 

It was fantastic to see so many organisations both private and public recognised for their hard work. Congratulations to everyone at the event, especially those nominated for awards and those who were fortunate enough to collect an award. It is reassuring to see so many organisations fighting cyber criminality on all fronts with great success.

The Yorkshire and Humber regional cyber crime unit were only organisation nationally to win more than one award. 

Special mention to Alison Lyle at CENTRIC who we collaborated with to created an incredible digital table top exercise CyberCentric.
